Random Tuesday Thoughts

Went and saw 'Gone Baby Gone' this evening, and had to say it was a pretty good movie. I will not say that it was a good adaptation of the novel by Dennis Lehane though. Does it bother anyone else when a great book gets butchered by the screenwriter/director (in this case the former member of Bennifer, Ben Affleck)? This also happened with virtually every Tom Clancy novel turned movie, most notably 'The Sum of All Fears' (starring Ben Affleck, FYI). If you don't plan on following the main storyline of the book, give the freakin movie a different name.

Bravos traded away Edgar Renteria yesterday, and I can't say I am too happy about that. Got two minor leaguers for their most consistent and productive everyday player. Hopefully Frank Wren has something up his sleeve with this move, b/c we just got weaker for the time being.

I saw an extended preview of the new Frank Caliendo series on TBS, 'FrankTV'. Looks absolutely hysterical. That guy can imitate anybody, and as much as it pains me to say, his imitation of GW is the funniest thing I have ever seen.

Here it is. My forum to keep all of you informed to the news that matters most... to me. What will follow will be my intemperate thoughts on current events and issues. For those of you who know me, this should come as no surprise. I now just have a written venue to display what you all have to listen to all the time anyway. Thoughts and feedback are always welcome, especially opposing views... even though you will be wrong.
